Stopped by the house in Everett to pick up my field hockey gear, as I will be "coaching" a few people tonight. Should be interesting.

I've gotten so much done today, I just needed to share this with someone. I've finally caught up at the office and managed to have both a productive visit with my internship guy (even though ANOTHER meeting went totally horribly) as well as fit in a dentist appointment. And microgirl8225 met me for my morning fix, which was great.

Other than that, I've been following the All-Star voting, the NHL draft, went to trivia last night (our team name was 'Psychic Prostitutes: They Know What's Coming') and got third place, cleaned my room, worked out loan payments, had Lori chop off all my hair, hated on the weather some more, got drunk (for srs) with moyawyvern, microgirl8225 and snowydragon1776, worked at Michael's, found out the name of the bouncer I have a crush on, got NO writing done and finally managed to realize that I'd like to date again.

All of that said, I got an instent review one of my Psych fics, The Three P's.

Okay well, I guess I should WRITE IT then? Because if you want to hear it (not read it, but hear it) then I should write it. Heh, that's not how that works.

So, ZOMG REQUEST! Rec me or upload me some angsty tunes that I can finish this SVU fic (that I've been harping on for weeks even though it's only like 1500 words right now) to!

I had some really good metas in store. For 30 Rock, The Office, Survivor, Dollhouse and Rescue Me but no one really reads those things. So I just wrote and deleted them. But it did help me figure out what rubbed me the wrong way about Alan Tudyk's character. So, yay!

I realized that a good portion of my flist friended me for CSI purposes and I haven't watched it much this season, so until I catch up or catch a second wind for Grissom/Sara, you're out of luck. Sorry?

(Friday was a mess of messes and saw me waking up with a slight hangover on Saturday, but I shall conveniently gloss over that...)

Saturday was graduation which was pretty... AWESOME. The speaker, Dr. Angela Diaz was unexpectedly wonderful. Everything went smoothly and the venue (though it WAS at the hotel where the "Craigslist killer did" his biddness...) was gorgeous. I was actually pretty tight with most of the people in my program, so it was much more enjoyable than my undergraduate commencement, as most of my friends were in other departments.

I was ecstatic that not only were my family (including my aunt and uncle who I really wanted to come) there, but Amanda, Lori, Samantha, and most-importantly, Griffin, who came from Oregon were also in attendance.

That said, there have been a lot of you who-over the past two years-have offered helpful suggestions and sincere words of encouragement. For this, I really, really, really and truly thank you. You've been nothing but supportive when I've whined, complained and straight-up bitched. A lot of you have been crazy awesome and I appreciate each and every one of you.

Oh and heeeeeey! Samantha graduated too (with a Masters in social work, what whatttt?!), so it was a super weekend for everyone in the apartment. But Lori is really exhausted. She's a trooper.

...we're not talking about basketball or hockey for awhile. Needless to say, we in Boston have to wait until October.

Suck is Hurricanes. (Lucic, stop fucking fighting and put your stick on the ice; take a hint from P.J. before Thomas eats your effin face.)

Suck it Tampa. (Really, where was Bard. Plus, Papelbon, it should be easier.)

Suck it Magic. (What!? Big Baby!? WHAT!? ...how much further can we take this without KG? While on basketball, what the hell was with the ROCKETS!?)

... none of my sports on the channels they're normally on. NESN was, what, dead air? :)

So short story long, d0wnbytheriver, buzzlikeneon and myself were out at White Horse to watch the various games that were on this evening.

Every time the B's would score, we cheered, and the entire bar turned to stare at us incredulously. Now, every time the Celtics scored a 2, the rest of the place cheered. Guys... it's a two pointer, there are going to be like... 50 of those, seriously.

Not that I don't enjoy the Celtics (I do, and have watched them since I was a wee lass; and went to games when tickets were like eight bucks so...), but I know when the B's win the Cup (:::knocks on wood, really... twice for good measure:::) all of these d-bags are going to be along the parade route celebrating them... meanwhile, 75% of the people won't be able to name someone that ISN'T Tim Thomas or Patrice Bergeron. OR WILL KNOW WHAT A HAT TRICK IS!

So, everyone at the bar, you can suck it. And that's on behalf of my five-year-old self, who sat on her father's lap, while mom and dad told stories about Bobby and Cam and Willie and Ray.

Oh and Larry... I'm back on the Celtics, but not a game goes by when my father doesn't have something to say about Mr. Bird. Seriously.

Guys... the Canes shouldn't score on YOUR power play. And hint, hint, when you have FOUR power plays there should be more shots on goal.
